Some users have reported that they are being logged out of BasedApp after refreshing the page. Most of these users are using a combination of Chromium browsers such as Chrome or Brave or with an privacy extension installed.

We've investigated the issue and it is due to these browsers blocking cross-site cookies, which is what our Auth provider (Magic.link) uses to maintain your login session.

To solve this issue, you can whitelist https://app.basedapp.io on your privacy extension. If you are using Brave, you can click on the Brave icon on the right of your address bar. You can either uncheck shields for app.basedapp.io or to allow all cookies as shown in below screenshot.
