Terms and Conditions Governing BasedApp Point System
The BasedApp Point System programme is applicable to all BasedApp accounts, except in cases of suspected fraudulent activities or inorganic behaviors ("Excluded Accounts"), subject to the terms and conditions herein
Points comprises of a point system where points are earned by account holders via interactions with BasedApp.
Points are intended solely for use as a loyalty incentive within the BasedApp ecosystem. BasedApp may, at its sole discretion, allow Points to be used for certain promotional activities, rewards, or benefits from time to time. Such promotional uses do not imply or create any monetary value.
BasedApp Points do not represent legal tender, cash, or any monetary value, and may not be purchased, sold, transferred, or redeemed for cash under any circumstances.
Earning Categories:
Spend
BasedApp cardholders will earn 4 points for every USD$1 of eligible spend using their BasedApp card linked to their KYC-ed account.
Bonus Spend
To promote the use of BasedApp cards for some of our favorite subscription services, additional points will be given to bonus categories of spending.
Eligible bonus spend categories include:
Spotify
Netflix
Youtube
GSuite (Google Suites)
Twitter
Dropbox
ChatGPT
BasedApp cardholders will earn 8 points (2x of normal spend) for every US$1 spent on such subscription services.
Excluded spend categories
The following spend categories are excluded from accumulating Based points:
payments to financial institutions (including banks, online trading platforms and brokerages);
any top-ups or payment of funds to payment service providers, prepaid accounts any prepaid accounts or purchase of prepaid cards/credits (including but not limited to EZ-Link, GrabPay, NETS FlashPay, Transit Link, Razer Pay, ShopeePay, Singtel Dash);
any betting transactions (including levy payments to local casinos, lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, off-track betting and wagers);
any other transactions determined by BasedApp from time to time.
No Based points will be earned for the following transactions:
Any unposted, voided, cancelled, disputed or reversed transactions.
Program Changes
BasedApp reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the BasedReward Program (in whole or in part) and to add, remove, or change the value, redemption options, or qualifying criteria for earning or using Points at any time without prior notice.
