Terms and Conditions Governing BasedApp Point System ("BasedRewards")

The BasedRewards programme is applicable to all BasedApp accounts, except in cases of suspected fraudulent activities or inorganic behaviors ("Excluded Accounts"), subject to the terms and conditions herein
BasedRewards comprises of a point system where points are earned by account holders via interactions with BasedApp, and rewards where account holders can utilised earned points to redeem for.
BasedRewards programme will commence from 1st NOV 2023, 0000H and will succeed our the Cashback and Spotify promotions (which will cease on 31 OCT 2023, 2359H)

Earning Categories:

Spend
1. BasedApp cardholders will earn 3 points for every SGD$1 of eligible spend using their BasedApp card linked to their KYC-ed account.
Bonus Spend
1. To promote the use of BasedApp cards for some of our favorite subscription services, additional points will be given to BONUS categories of spending.
2. Eligible BONUS spend categories include:
  1. Spotify
  2. Netflix
  3. Youtube
  4. GSuite (Google Suites)
  5. Twitter
  6. Dropbox
  7. ChatGPT
3. BasedApp cardholders will earn 6 points (2x of normal spend) for every SGD$1 spent on such subscription services.

Excluded spend categories

The following spend categories are excluded from accumulating BasedReward points:
1. payments to financial institutions (including banks, online trading platforms and brokerages);
2. any top-ups or payment of funds to payment service providers, prepaid accounts any prepaid accounts or purchase of prepaid cards/credits (including but not limited to EZ-Link, GrabPay, NETS FlashPay, Transit Link, Razer Pay, ShopeePay, Singtel Dash);
3. any betting transactions (including levy payments to local casinos, lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, off-track betting and wagers);
4. any other transactions determined by BasedApp from time to time.
No BasedReward points will be earned for the following transactions:
1. Any unposted, voided, cancelled, disputed or reversed transactions.

Rewards:

BasedReward points can be redeemed for rewards in BasedApp's reward section - to be released.
Additional rewards are in the works and will be added progressively at later stages.

Additional Terms:

BasedReward points do not have expiration date.
BasedApp reserves the right for claw-back of any points awarded without prior notice if we reasonably determined that the customer is not eligible for the reward, including but not limited to occasions where the BasedReward points was credited due to error.
BasedApp reserves the right to amend the terms of this T&C without prior notification.
BasedApp's decision on all matters pertaining to this BasedReward programme is final. No correspondence or claims will be entertained.
